People and Appointments

·         Congratulations to Luke Shaw who has been appointed as the new Diocesan Youth Coordinator. Luke has worked with youth since 1998 and from 1999 – 2005 and was the full time youth pastor at Bishopdale Community Anglican Church. Since 2005 he has been the full time youth pastor at St George’s Anglican Church in Epsom, Auckland. Luke is married to Demelza and has two children. Luke will begin working in his new role on the 20^th July 2009.

·         Rev Don Moses has been appointed as the next Vicar of St Christopher’s, Blenheim South. Don’s induction service will be on the 30^th September at 7pm at St Christophers.

·          Rev Steve Neale and his family are moving to Christchurch while Steve applies for a suitable ministry position. Please pray for Steve and Leanne during this time.

  ·          Vacancy for a part time, short term Children's Ministry position for the Diocese of Nelson to commence at the end of August.

  This position involves resourcing, training, equipping and supporting leaders within parishes. Leadership and Children' Ministry experience is needed.
